The love of the outdoors keeps taking me back to visit my son in Utah, to explore the natural beauty of the American West.
I always look forward to the changing of seasons and the allure of the fall season up in the mountains.
Normally, I always pack to go somewhere warm, for sand and beaches.
I didn’t prepare and pack for the cool, high-elevation temperatures. It was nearly 80 degrees when I left Oklahoma. Guess what that means!… I had to go shopping for warm clothes.
I spent a day and night at Snowbird Ski Resort for Oktoberfest.
The next day I took a road-trip to the Snowbasin/ Ogden Valley area, on the beautiful Alpine Loop.
The Real-Real Behind the Scenes
Editor’s Note: Suki’s son Jerry shot these jaw-dropping photos of his mom in the mountains surrounding his home. Here he gets a photo of both mom and dad.
A Little Background Music
Editor’s Note: Jerry also made an aerial drone-video of the area in which they shot the photos, then set it to gorgeous music. Enjoy the snowflakes falling into the autumn leaves in the Rocky Mountains.
