Tammy: Choose Joy

By Tammy Seibert

This picture with the yellow bench and the hot pink top and flowers brought me so much joy.

The Sofia Collections washable silk blouse is so soft it feels like luxury to me. And the color is so vibrant and juicy like the watermelon picture behind the couch at the hotel.

It’s so much more than clothes — it’s about choosing to be seen. Claiming our radiance and allowing it — even in the smallest of ways. We need more love. More joy. More color. More being seen. More delight. More permissions to know and explore who we are and to show up in a more beautiful, alive expression of ourselves. Living a life of creative joy is a beautiful gift we give to the world.

In the picture of my blouse on Sofia’s website, the model wore it with white jeans but I wanted to add even more color by wearing it with a floral maxi skirt from Cache. What is the French phrase for joy? Joie De Vivre means the joy of living…yes, this is what this top whispers to me.

The Real-Real Behind the Scenes/ Tammy’s Recommendation

This is a 30-day email course called “Wear Your Joy,” which incorporates changing your self-talk, aligning with your sacred style, and provides a daily reminder that style is not superficial, but a way into joy. The website is here.

She also has a hash tag on Instagram called #wearyourjoy. I just think it is contagiously happy. God knows we all could use more of that. This is an artist I’ve been following for years.
