Robin: The “Shake Up”

By Robin Stone

I am going to start by saying that, as you can tell, I decided to do the whole “Bangs” thing with my hair. The verdict is still out with me on whether I Love it or Hate it, but you just gotta “Shake things up” sometimes, right? I like to think I do that with my wardrobe as well, but I am tellin ya, I tend to hang on to certain pieces for years because they just seem to never go out of style.

The key to being able to do that is to try to buy classic articles of clothing that truly won’t ever go out of style and as long as you don’t gain or lose a bunch of weight, you can wear them for years!

I bought this particular dress a good 10-12 years ago. I spent more money than I should have on it, but the minute I saw it, I thought I had to have it. Turns out, that wasn’t such a bad investment after all.

Because all these years later, it is still a good “go to” outfit when you want to be a little dressy in the summertime. I’m not sure if the handkerchief hemline is still in style, but I love it! I love the way it flows when you walk and can cover enough, but still show a little leg now and then. When I wear this dress it does change my attitude a bit! I am a bit more “wild-spirited” than usual (which is saying a lot!)

Everyone needs that one complete outfit that makes them feel confident and beautiful and sexy all at the same time!
