Shelley proves the Christmas sweater can still be cool!! If it’s all loosey-“moosey” and drapes as well as this one with its updated bell sleeve and sophisticated color palette of navy, cream, and dark green. The feeling of comfy coziness is completed with a destructed v-neck tee, destructed jean with ragged hem, and a shapely, low-heeled, taupe suede bootie. Who knew a reindeer cardigan could be so hip?!
The tiny holes and frayed edges of the destructed tee surprise here, because they suggest the texture of a well-loved knobby, pilled, unraveling sweater. The “imperfect” becomes perfect and intentional.
The Real-Real Behind the Scenes
A hug from a lifelong friend can feel like a favorite sweater holding back the cold. Shelley and Lori’s friendship has spanned 35 years, since college.
A Little Background Music
Another longtime classic, updated and re-imagined.
