A blueberry tart gingham shirt, blue swirl-embossed shoes, summer’s cropped white jean, a tiny burst of red, and the world’s greatest photo bomb by the snow-cone guy. Happy Birthday, America!

You may have noticed Shelley always wears a sapphire and diamond heart necklace which was a gift from her husband. She may add other necklaces to accent an outfit but in this case, it’s perfect alone with the dark blue and white top. Her fingers are drawn to the feel of its unique smooth and flat surface.

The Real-Real Behind the Scenes

EDITOR: We shot these photos at a sweet little snow cone shack near Denton, TX that just opened. The local paper did a story talking about how they use only natural, fresh ingredients with no dye or preservatives. I want all the Flavours..how does one choose?! These guys need to get busy and franchise!

A Little Background Music

EDITOR: You get a double-header for today’s song! I can no longer make choices after seeing that snow-cone flavour board. You can choose between the Boy from Louisiana or the Boy from Florida or both! Shelley’s husband Brad suggested Tom Petty’s American Girl, and I cannot disagree. Especially when a 1978 clip is this good.

But the last time I visited Shelley and Brad, we sat on their back patio late into the evening listening to music, and they told me the cute-funny story of how they met. A heart don’t forget something like that. :^)
